Spring Break

Over spring break, the boys and I drove to Memphis with my Mom. That is where she is from and all her family still lives there. It was a fun trip. I have not been there since Ethan was a baby. Monday Mom arrived and we headed out. Since she had been driving that day from Houston, we spent the night in Arkadelphia. They had an indoor pool, so I took the boys for a swim. Saying the water was heated, is a bit of a stretch. I sucked it up and did it anyway.


Tuesday we finished out the drive to Memphis. We arrived at my Aunt Dot's house, she opened the door and looked like death warmed over. On for the search for a hotel room for a few nights.



My cousin, Leigh, has 2 kids...Cameron, 5 and Bailee, 2.5. What fun for the boys to have playmates while we were there. We did not do major activities, but spent most of the time visiting and letting the kids play outside.


We saw a fire truck at the mall. The boys got inside and looked around. They love that.


Real Memphis BBQ. Need I say more. YUMMY!!!
